Christmas Love from Cookie's House, 12/19/06

Twas the night before Christmas
We sit measuring our wealth
With an aura of excitement
For our blessings and health.

The stockings are hung
By the chimney with care.
Parker’s grown so much bigger
And Cookie’s got dark hair!

We know Santa’s watching
We’ve been very good all year.
Cookie got brand new DNA
And Parker started school without fear!

When out on the roof
There arose such a clatter
We sprang from our beds
To see what was the matter!

It turned out to be
Our great neighbors and friends
Coming by to share stories
Of the past year’s twists and bends.

We’re still waiting for Santa
Christmas Day is so close.
But it’s during this wait
That we’re thankful the most.

Take this time to be proud
Of the love that you’ve shared
With this family of Cookie’s!
We just LOVE how much you’ve cared!
